Have you ever felt like you are at a standstill in life? It feels as if you are going nowhere, you have played your last hand and you literally don’t know what is your next move. Trust your gut feeling, you have the answer within you.

trust your gut feeling

A few years ago, I felt really stuck. Lost my business, my house, my marriage and almost every cent trying to find a way to make money online. I tried online businesses that seemed ideal and promised to be very lucrative but they all turned out to be another scam.

Let’s just say, I literally hit rock bottom and was slowly drifting towards depression. It was at this point that I realized that I was in a bad shape and I had to rescue me before it was too late. Deep down my gut feeling was telling me this was not the end.  You can get through this, but my emotion was telling me you have really messed up big time.

Take Some Time Out to Clear Your Head

At this point, I had to dig deep to find an anchor.  I had to find something to hold on to until I was strong enough to get back on my feet. So I went away to my grandmother’s house in the country to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle.  This trip was also to clear my head and find answers. I was trying so hard to figure everything out with my mind and my rational mind was not helping at all. Right then I knew I need a new framework; a completely new way of looking at my life.

There are times when we are going through struggles and we keep on making poor decisions; when that is happening it is time to move away from the crowd.  It is time to find some alone time to clear your head. Dig deep within you, you have it within you and trust your gut feelings.

You have within you a God-given instinct that tells you what is good for you and what is not good for you. If something feels good, then it is good for you. If something does not feel good, then it isn’t.

You Have it Within You – Trust Your Gut Feelings

After coming to reality from my soul-searching and head-clearing venture I know I had to rely on my instinct more. I had to give myself more credit than I was giving it. The connection with my grandmother, who has actually passed away about 20 years ago, was surreal.  I was able to rekindle the values and attitudes she had instilled in me as a child. Especially the one that tells me that “A winner never quits, and a quitter never wins”. With that said I knew it was time to brush myself off and move on. The pity party was over.

What a relief it was to have this new framework from which to make decisions. I began searching the internet to find a legitimate online business because I knew that is what I wanted to do. After about two days of searching, one late night I stumbled upon this god-sent.

Immediately I knew this was the one, It came with no hype or fanfare and it definitely did not promise any instant riches. It clearly pointed out that there were people in the industry who were making a lot of money and there were also a lot of people who failed. However, it also pointed out that there is a space for everyone who was willing to learn, put in the hard work and follow their gut feelings. Right there I knew I was in.

When you have followed your gut feeling you have no need to rationalize or justify your decisions. You simply need to recognize that “that doesn’t feel good” and “that feels good” and “that feels great!” to know what is right for you.
